As: Benfica will sign Real Madrid left-back Obrador for 5 million euros to unlock A-fee transfer

According to the Ass, Real Madrid's young left-back Rafael Obrador is about to join Benfica, with a transfer fee of only 5 million euros.
The 21-year-old Obrador switched to Real Madrid youth training from Mallorca in 2020 and was reused by Raul in Castilla. He made 36 appearances in Castilla in the 2022-23 season, and was loaned to La Coruña last season, making 33 appearances in the Spanish Second Division. Lazio, Genoa, Espanyol, and Las Palmas are all interested in Obrado.
However, Ass said that Benfica finally successfully signed Obrador, with a player transfer fee of 5 million euros, and Real Madrid retained the future repurchase option. Ass believes that Obrador's joining Benfica also means that Benfica's left-back Alvaro Fernandez will transfer to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid has been asking for Alvaro Fernandez this summer, but thinks Benfica's 50 million euros are too high. Now that the two clubs have finally reached an agreement, Alvaro Fernandez will join Real Madrid soon, but there will be no official announcement before the end of the Club World Cup. After Alvaro Fernandez left the team, Benfica also has Daal and Obrador in the left back position, which is enough to deal with next season.
