Dembele was interviewed by the "Team News" and said that he did like to play games before, but now he is more professional and will go to fitness on weekends.
Ekitic accepted the "Team" and said: "He discovered a little trick in his daily life, which changed everything, maybe about rigor." What does this mean?
Demberle: "As I get older, this is normal. I am no longer young, now I am 28 years old. Times go by, you are becoming more mature and more calm. If you have the responsibility on your shoulders, it would be even better. I have changed many daily habits - both on and off the court, such as working with physical coaches and physical therapists. This has greatly improved my performance, especially in the past two years."
Would you say that you are more professional?
Dembele: "Yes, it's a little more professional. It used to be a professional, but now it's a step further. Even on a day off, I like to go to the training center to recover and work with a physiotherapist. I used to go home and play NBA 2K and watch TV. I was younger and that's normal. But at a certain stage, you'll pay the price - I've experienced it in Barcelona. When I was playing there from 20 to 26, I had a lot of physical problems. That experience taught me a lot, and now I've benefited. Now I know my body better and I've suffered less injuries. I can tell whether I'm in good condition, when I should slow down and how to adjust my intensity in training."
