She has been away from the team for a week and we have been unable to contact her. She did not participate in training and did not participate in the game against Genoa Women's Football Team. This is a serious problem and we will evaluate how to resolve the matter."

Nicole Vernis' agent followed The response said: "Because Lazio did not pay wages and did not inform the Lexington Women's Football Team of the player's injury, the Lexington Women's Football Team has terminated her loan contract early on October 10. Since joining on July 15, Wilnis has not received any salary. The current injury will cause her to miss 6 to 8 weeks." Nicole Wilnis has returned to the United States for treatment due to a stress fracture in her leg.
