According to German media Bild, Bayern goalkeeper Daniel Peretz will join Hamburg on loan for one year. Players are expected to arrive in Hamburg on Sunday or Monday.

Peretz transferred to Bayern from Tel Aviv for EUR 5 million in August 2023. He played 7 official games for Bayern, four of which were in the Bundesliga. Injuries (medial knee ligament, thigh tendon, kidney contusion) repeatedly hindered his development.

Now, Peretz will start over in Hamburg, opening the competition for No. 1 goalkeeper position. Club executives believe he will be at the same level as current main goalkeeper Daniel Herville Fernandez.

Hamburg management has paid attention to Peretz last winter. After Mateo Lab transferred to Berlin United, Hamburg urgently needed reinforcement in the goalkeeper position. In training camp, the club has only three young goalkeepers except Daniel Herville Fernandez.

Negotiations about Adam Karabek are also in progress. Hamburg is considering whether to rent him again. Last season, Karabek has played 31 Bundesliga games for Hamburg, playing 3 goals and 7 assists.

The current plan to be discussed is that Prague will extend its original contract to 2026 by another one year to 2027. In this way, this technical midfielder can be loaned out again.

Hamburg management has not yet decided whether to sign Karabek again. The team's lineup is currently quite large, with seven players on the sale list. These include two midfielders Poreba and Sukhoning.
