According to the Daily Mail, due to the conflict between Israel and Iran, Iraq's Australian coach Arnold is stranded in Iraq and cannot return to Australia.
As a former Australian head coach, Arnold was just appointed as Iraqi head coach in May this year. Iraq's flights have been grounded due to conflicts between Israel and Iran and Baghdad Airport is closed.
According to Arnold's friends, Arnold is currently very nervous. He planned to stay in Iraq for another week after the international match day, and then returned to Australia, but now he is trapped in Baghdad.
It is reported that several members of his coaching team were unable to leave Iraq either.
Inter Milan's Iranian striker Taremi is in the same situation as Arnold. He has not yet met with Inter Milan, who participated in the Club World Cup.
