Bayern officially announced that it has renewed its contract with head coach Kompany until 2029, after the original contract expired in 2027.
After the two parties renewed their contract, Kompany became the first head coach to renew his contract with Bayern since Louis van Gaal in 2010. Before that, it goes back to Heathfield in 2003.
