Alfonso Davies recently accepted an interview with Bayern's official media and talked about his recovery.

Alphonso Davis has been absent from the game for more than 200 days. He said: "I am running and training in good condition, and I still need to gain some muscle mass in my right leg. When the doctor told me the estimated recovery time, I thought: 'Oh my god, this will be a long journey.' But now everything is going well."

"There is no point in indulging in frustration, complaining or self-pity. This kind of injury is part of competitive sports. The only thing I can do at this moment is to work hard to return, not seeking speed, but seeking stability to avoid recurrence."

For Davis, the most severe challenge is not intensive training and rehabilitation work, but a psychological challenge. He said: "The psychological challenge during the recovery process is more than the physical one. The muscles will grow again, but you are not sure how long you will be absent and whether you can complete certain movements. This is very difficult."

"Sometimes the body will say: 'I can't hold on anymore.' But at this time you must be mentally strong. This is the only way to succeed. If you don't persist, No one can hold on for you."
