This season, Juventus has three forwards, Vlahovic, Jonathan David and Oponda, but the three have failed to shoulder the burden of scoring goals. "Goal.com" took stock of the status of Juventus' three forwards.

The international break is usually a good opportunity for players to regain their strength and confidence, but sometimes it can backfire, further confirming their low period. Juventus' three forwards David, Vlahovic and Oponda represented Canada, Belgium and Serbia respectively, but failed to score.

Four games without scoring are an embarrassing statistic for the Juventus forward in the last four league and Champions League games. The last time Juventus scored a goal from a center was on September 16, when Vlahovic, who came on as a substitute, scored twice against Dortmund. Since then, the team's four goals have been scored by Conceicao Junior (two goals), Gatti and Kabal, and Juve have drawn all four games.

The national team competition also failed to change this situation. David played the entirety of Canada's friendly against Australia and performed well but failed to score. Vlahovic started and played the entire game in Serbia's crucial match against Albania, but his performance was disappointing and Serbia lost 0-1, which also led to the resignation of head coach Stojkovic. Vlahovich had four shots in this game, three excellent opportunities were wasted, his passing success rate was 58%, he succeeded three times in seven attempts, and won three out of 12 ground duels. Oponda came on as a substitute for 30 minutes in Belgium's match against North Macedonia, but only had one shot and failed to change the 0-0 score.

Despite this, Juventus' offensive line is still strong and competitive on paper, but it has not yet been reflected on the field. David, Oponda and Vlahovich are all top forwards, but they only scored a total of three goals after six league rounds. Tudor urgently needs to find a stable solution at the nine position to enhance the team's offensive firepower and regain victory.

The only bright spot for Juventus this season is undoubtedly the young genius Yildiz. The youngster born in 2005 also performed well in the national team competition, scoring twice in Türkiye's 6-1 victory over Bulgaria and forcing Popov to score an own goal. These positive signals convinced Tudor that Yildiz will become the core of Juventus' tactics.
