According to the Daily Telegraph, the British court was originally scheduled to hold a trial on Thomas' suspected rape case on Tuesday local time, and the trial has now been postponed to September 15 for some reason.
Thomas is now facing six rape charges, and he has appeared in court several times in the UK, and the judge allowed him to continue his career in Spain after his contract with Arsenal expires this summer (without restricting his personal freedom).
Thomas joined Villarreal and was protested by some fans of the team, but Huang Qian's senior officials believed that Thomas should be considered innocent before the court verdict was announced. So far this season, Thomas has made three appearances in La Liga (all of which are substitutes).
