A month ago, you made a very bitter statement to leave Galatasaray. Do you regret it?

I've been good at Galatasaray, but these problems will happen on more other teams as well. When you have to leave, things you don't want to happen. Now it's better to delete that statement. It was a good time in Türkiye before I said I wanted to leave, but the last days were complicated. But now it's all over, the Turkish people are fine.

Why is your position the only one on the list without a substitute?

There is also competition in my position, and I will do my best. Some young players are getting stronger, like Agjova and Gonzalo Garcia, and we must congratulate the Spanish Football Association on having these great young people, because Spain has a bright future and we must be happy. Spain is enough to form three different teams, so selecting people is a difficult task for the coach. There are many players in this national team that can score goals, not just me.
