Real Madrid officially issued an announcement to deeply mourn the death of club No. 1 member Sergio Nieto. Nieto has been a member of Real Madrid since December 1, 1932 at the age of 100.
Real Madrid announced as follows:
Real Madrid Football Club, its chairman and board of directors are deeply saddened by the death of club No. 1 member Sergio Nieto Dias Alvo.
Real Madrid wishes to express their deepest condolences and care to his family, relatives and all Real Madrid fans.
Sergio Nieto Dias Alvo has been a member of Real Madrid since December 1, 1932 for 93 years, and he was 100 years old. May him rest in peace.
