Zanbrotta was interviewed by the Evening Post a few days ago and talked about the current situation of Cuomo and the significance of Fabregas' contract renewal.
Zanbrotta said: "Retaining Fabregas means the goal is not only to relegation, they are eager for European competitions and may one day strive for the Champions League. Club president Suvaso has already made this ambition clear. Cuomo is following the Atlanta model, building a new stadium, maintaining coach stability, cultivating young talents, and creating high-quality football."
Zanbrotta also praised the club for holding up the offer of Rome, Leverkusen and Inter Milan to retain Fabregas S.'s determination: "The management stands firm, they know that they have a coach who can bring tactical ideas and a sense of identity of the team. The team is determined to achieve great things."
Speaking of Zivo's coaching Inter Milan, Zanbrotta added: "Zivo is a young coach. Inter Milan's choice is very brave. He is well versed in club culture and understands the meaning of playing for Inter Milan. This is different from Inzaghi's trajectory and is a positive signal for Italian football."
