According to Sky Sports reports, De Bruyne underwent surgery in Antwerp, Belgium, and is expected to be out for 3-4 months.
De Bruyne suffered a severe injury to his biceps femoris in a previous game against Inter Milan. The player's personal physiotherapist said the operation went very smoothly, but Naples has not yet released an official announcement. De Bruyne is expected to miss three to four months with the aim of returning towards the end of the season and before the World Cup.
