In an interview with "Daily Sports", International Miami forward Suarez talked about his friendship with Messi and the topic of MLS.

-As the years go by, we get to know each other better and better on the court. Now, not only do we know each other on the court, but we also know each other off the court. We know when the other person is in a good mood and when they are in a bad mood. We know when we can share our innermost thoughts and when we don’t want to talk.

We know each other very well and the kids spend a lot of time playing football. It was a wonderful phase and we enjoyed it. Sometimes we look at each other and remember our conversations in Barcelona. We hope to enjoy football together at the end of our careers.

How to describe Messi?

——There are no more words to describe him. On the court, he is unique and unrepeatable and continues to create miracles. He still has a burning desire to win, as we all do. But when you see his spirit, you understand. Sometimes the team won and he would get angry if a player he expected to score didn't. When he set a goal, he achieved it, and that inspired us all.

Sometimes you see him still full of pressure even at his age and achievements, and you think: "If he can work hard like this, why can't younger people work equally hard?" He is a role model.

What do you think about MLS?

- To be honest, I was a little surprised at how much traveling and racing there was. We coincide with a period when the club is advancing in various competitions, including the CONCACAF Champions League, League Cup and Club World Cup, which require frequent long-distance travel. Each flight was at least two hours, but we were used to it. No complaints, just trying to enjoy the rest of the time.

How is MLS as a league?

- Sometimes people look down on MLS, but the actual results speak for themselves. It’s not easy to win here, every game is tough. We've lost to the bottom teams and we've beaten the leaders. For our opponents, playing against us is their most important game of the year and a chance to showcase themselves. Last year we were ranked No. 1 in the playoffs but were eliminated in the first round by No. 8. This clearly shows that nothing is easy.

Suarez: I had nothing as a child, so I regarded football as an opportunity to change my destiny.

Suarez: In Barcelona, ​​I had to get used to passing the ball accurately. In Liverpool, I had 40 meters of space to run.
