According to TYC, the two Milan fans organized protesting against the club's management.
Due to the violations involved in the fan organization over the years, the management of the Milan Twin Club decided to restrict the entrance of certain fans and prohibit the hanging of some banners. The fan organizations of the two clubs took unprecedented protests against the management of their respective clubs. The fans remained silent throughout the stands and did not even go to watch the game.
AC Milan fan organization Curva Sud remained silent for 90 minutes in the first game against Cremona. In a statement posted on social media, they said: "Almost all old banners are prohibited from hanging, and there is also a blacklist that prohibits ticket purchases in the second floor stands. Management prohibits us from buying season tickets in the area on the grounds of ‘public order’, but if we can grab the only few tickets in the area in each game, the so-called ‘public order issue’ suddenly disappears. It’s ridiculous!"
Inter fan organization Curva Nord took it a step further and directly missed Inter’s match against Turin. They said through social media: "In addition to the continued rise in ticket prices without reason, we are also facing the so-called ‘blacklist’, and dozens of young people in the fan organization are banned from renewing season tickets for no justification, most of them have no criminal records or legal issues."
