After the results of the Champions League phase draw were announced, Arsenal legend Walcott was interviewed.
Walcott first said: "All the games are very exciting. I saw Bayern, players like Kane come to Arsenal's home games, and the atmosphere here will definitely be hostile to him, and it will be interesting. I have played several games with Olympiacos, and it's a tough team to deal with. These games are great, and Arsenal hopes to go further than in previous seasons. I think the depth of Arsenal's lineup has been further improved this season."
Walcott continued: "I think our goal is always to be successful. When you look at the new players who have joined, the boss Kroenke and the club's board have done a very good job, and the same is true for sports director Andrea Berta, even though he has just taken office."
Walcott then said: "I think that's it." It is the competitive advantage that Arsenal currently has. This desire for victory and this desire to fight. I think this is the change of Arsenal this season. There is also the joining of Yorke, filling the missing piece in the puzzle. I think Arsenal is really capable of achieving very good results, and they have many players to choose from. "
Finally, Walcott said: "I am very satisfied with Arsenal's Champions League schedule. We don't have to go too far away. This is also an advantage for playing well in domestic events. It's a wonderful night, but Arsenal will hope to advance to the final."
Arsenal's Champions League opponents: Bayern (Home), Inter Milan (Home), Atletico Madrid (Home), Bruges (Home), Olympiacos (Home), Slavia (Home), Almaty Keilat (Home), Biba (Home)
