Manchester City coach Guardiola was interviewed by Reuters and talked about Ancelotti, who stepped down as Real Madrid coach to coach Brazil this summer.
Guardiola joked: "I am happy for Ancelotti, and I am very happy that he no longer coaches Real Madrid because he always beats me. I won't have to deal with this guy anymore."
Guardiola did not say how long he would coach at Manchester City, nor did he rule out the possibility of coaching the national team like Ancelotti in the future: "I would love to lead the team to the World Cup, the European Cup or the Copa America. I have always had this idea, but it depends on many, many factors. If it is achieved, it is good; if it is not achieved, it doesn't matter."
