St. Bonaventure University, the alma mater of former NBA veteran reporter Woj, held a career day event, attended by executives and scouts from 23 NBA teams.
As you can see from the picture, the participating NBA teams are: Timberwolves, Knicks, Clippers, Spurs, Pelicans, Pacers, Nuggets, Grizzlies, Cavaliers, Warriors, Trail Blazers, Nets, Rockets, Hornets, Mavericks, Pistons, Wizards, Magic, Hawks, Jazz, Thunder, Bulls, Bucks. The other two teams are the G League's Mexico City Captains and Long Island Nets.
It is understood that this is the only professional day event for NCAA mid-level teams in 2025. In the past, only the top NCAA teams in the United States would hold this event. This is the first time ever that the event has been held off campus.
Woj announced his retirement in September last year, ending his 30-year career as a journalist. For the past year, Woj has served as the general manager of the men's basketball program at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure University.
