Assistant coach: Curry’s previous injury was due to excessive fatigue and he was trying his best to squeeze into the playoffs. Playing against the Rockets was too intense

Recently, Warriors assistant coach Bruce Fraser accepted an exclusive interview with Essentially Sports.

Curry suffered a left hamstring strain in G1 between the Timberwolves and Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals of last season's playoffs. As the Warriors were eliminated by their opponents 1-4, Curry had no chance to come back.

Fraser said: "The most important thing is his health and how to stay healthy. Although this is not a technical issue, his health determines how his body feels, which helps his performance. This may or may not be related, but I think we tried our best to squeeze into the playoffs in the last month of the regular season last season, which consumed him a lot. We were fighting desperately. To get a spot in the playoffs, to have a seven-game series with the Rockets after a very physical season and then to go non-stop against Minnesota without any rest, I think it was tough for all of our players. "I don't want to say whether it had anything to do with his (hamstring) injury later on, because I'm not an expert, but his body was definitely overtired.

"His performance in that Rockets series was impressive, considering the way some of the opposing players defended him and the physical intensity of the series. Even with the length and length and physicality of the Rockets, he still had the ability to persevere. Every team will focus on him. The Rockets are no exception. They have many good defenders to target him and switch defenses on him frequently. I am impressed that he can endure it physically and stay focused mentally. He does not play well in every game, but in key battles, he performs well."
