Recently, a car sales company shared a story on social media. Shakeel O'Neal (the second son of the Sharks), who plays for the Sacramento State University Hornets, purchased a Mercedes-Benz S580 worth approximately US$130,000 through a video call.
It is reported that the car sales boss was worried about whether the Sharks would approve his son's behavior, but Shakir's answer was simple: "Put it on my dad's account, he will have no objection."
The car was delivered to Sacramento within 24 hours, and O'Neal knew nothing about it. Interestingly, the entire car buying process is completed via video call.
O'Neal once expressed in an interview that he hopes his children can work hard. He once said: "My children have grown up now. I always tell them that my family is not actually rich, and I am the truly rich one."
It is reported that the Shark's net worth is estimated to be about US$500 million.
