McCain: I was really frustrated after the last game, but I haven’t played for 11 months and I have to be tolerant of myself.

The 76ers Development League team Delaware Blue Jackets played again against the Greensboro Swarm, a development league team affiliated with the Hornets, and ultimately lost to their opponent 129-145.

After the game, 76ers second-year guard McCain talked about his performance. He said: "I am getting back to my normal state. You know, I am getting used to playing without protective gear. Now I only wear a smaller thing on my left leg. But I feel much better. I can run back and forth and get a chance to breathe."

Talking about his poor form after his comeback and choosing to come to the Development League to find form, he said "I look back and I was really frustrated after the last game, and it's been tough. Sometimes you look at social media, and I told reporters last time, you see things about yourself. But, I haven't played in 11 months. This was like my first three games back, and then my fourth. I've got to be easy on myself, I keep saying that. But you know, there's definitely going to be a lot of ups and downs ahead. This is only my fifth game back in 11 months."

Talking about the experience of playing for the Blue Jackets these days, McCain said with a smile: "When I first received the notice of devolution, I just wanted to play. Of course, I (more) hope to play with the 76ers at the highest level. But in order to recover my physical fitness and find the feeling of holding the ball, it is good to be here. It was a great experience and I explored Delaware a little bit. It wasn't too much, but I did stay here the other night. All in all, the atmosphere here was great."

McCain struggled to find his form after his comeback. He scored zero points in three consecutive games with the 76ers. After that, the team dropped him to the Development League. In the first game, he made 3 of 10 shots, 0 of 4 three-pointers, and scored 10 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists on 2 of 3 free throws.

In today's game, McCain played 20 minutes, making 6 of 13 shots, 1 of 4 three-pointers, and 1 of 1 free throws (a D-League shooting foul and free throw, counting 2 points or 3 points) and scored 15 points, 2 rebounds, and 6 assists.
