According to ESPN reporter Shams, Miami Heat guard Duncan Robinson used the early termination option (worth $20 million) to become a full free agent. He will discuss a new contract with the team for his return, or seek a transfer to another team.
This decision allows Dunro to discuss long-term contracts with the Heat, or explore a sign-on and then exchange transaction plan with other teams.
This season, Dunro played 74 games, averaging 11 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.1 blocks, shooting percentage of 43.7%, three-point shooting percentage of 39.3%, and free throw shooting percentage of 88.7%.
