Stein: Exam and the Mavericks intend to reach a new contract

According to famous reporter Stein, despite rumors that Exam was targeted by Turkish team Fenerbahce, he himself prefers to continue to stay in the NBA in the 2025-26 season, and both he and the Mavericks are interested in reaching a new contract.
In the 2024-25 season, Exam played 20 games with the Mavericks, averaging 8.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
In the 2023 offseason, Exam joined the Mavericks with a 2-year, $6.15 million base salary contract, which expires this summer.
