Today is a Hall of Fame member and former Lakers star Paul Gasol's 45th birthday.
Gasol joined hands with Kobe to win two championship trophys for the Lakers in 2008-09 and 2009-10. He played for the Lakers for 6 seasons, played in 429 regular season games, averaged 17.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 blocks per game, with a shooting percentage of 52.2% and a free throw percentage of 78.0%.
After Kobe's death, Gasol took the initiative to take care of Kobe's widow Vanessa and the children, and the two families had a close relationship.
